I have over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings and have worked with clients of all ages and from all different backgrounds. I have worked with clients in an outpatient substance abuse treatment program, with parents involved in the child welfare system, with children and adolescents in an in-home therapy model, as an integrated behavioral health provider in a medical setting and most recently in an inpatient hospital with older adults. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, and I have my master’s degree in social work from Hunter College in New York City.

Following my master’s degree, I received a certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute in Brookline as well as received a certificate from Boston University in Cognitive Behavioral Interventions. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). In addition to my training and experience, I believe that my warm and caring personality help my clients feel relaxed and comfortable right away. My goal is for each client to look forward to coming to therapy and find each session to be productive and helpful. I offer evening and teletherapy appointments to accommodate busy schedules.
